Beverly at the Knitting Factory Brooklyn - December 2, 2015

December 31, 2015

Ventured to the Knitting Factory in early December to see Dan Croll. But having seen him before, the real reason I made it out to Williamsburg was to finally see indie pop band Beverly. I'd been crushing on their 2014 record, Careers, for awhile and was excited to finally see them live. A handful of photos from their brilliant set are below. Really looking forward to their new record in 2016.

Last week saw the launch of my new website. It's been an age in the making and now that it's up, I'm not quite sure why it took so long. But it's live and now, so too is my blog: Several Sights Seldom Seen.

Opening for Empress Of last Friday were the brilliant New York-based Colombian duo, @saltcathedral.
I first saw them a few years ago opening for Ski Lodge at Baby’s All Right and was blown away. Highly recommend trying to catch them when they&r The excellent @empressof (Lorely Rodriguez) at @elsewherespace Friday, 22 February.
Got to spend some time with her at @jimenoacid’s @public_hifi studio a few years ago documenting her recording session for @spotify.

Last night’s breathtaking Ólafur Arnalds show at the Eglise Saint-John-Baptiste in Montreal was all about righting a wrong. Back in November I had written his management about photographing his show at Town Hall. When I never heard back 215th IRT platform (the 1 train), Inwood, Manhattan, 1:22pm | 2 February 2019
