First the site and now the blog.

Last week saw the launch of my new website. It's been an age in the making and now that it's up, I'm not quite sure why it took so long. But it's live and now, so too is my blog: Several Sights Seldom Seen.

I've long joked that I'll end up being like Gerry Winogrand and die with thousands and thousands of unprocessed rolls (or for the digital age - files) of images that never saw the light of day. The goal of the blog, in addition to the timely posts of newer work and projects, is to dig back through the catalog and post galleries that for one reason or another were lost in the digital archives for months, or in some cases, years.

I also hope to start flexing my writing skills again. Having been a sportswriter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram right out of college and more recently a concert reviewer for several blogs including BrooklynVegan, Venuszine, and What to Wear During An Orange Alert?, I'll be posting excerpts of some of that music writing as well.

So, thanks for reading and I hope to make this blog a regular stop for you here in the crazy wild web.
